Air conditioning
During the week commencing 16 February air conditioning technicians worked outside the building and on the campus roof. As of Thursday 19 February the air conditioning has been working in both Margaret Ball rooms.
Heartfelt thanks go to those members who have endured hot and uncomfortable conditions while the system was broken down.
The ladies from the Creative Sewing course happily moved to the cooler conditions of the kitchen area while the air conditioning in the Margaret Ball rooms was not working.
New Compactus units
During the break our we have installed two new compactus units, one in each of the Margaret Ball rooms.
Tutors have packed the two units with their course resources.
The old storage cupboards have been removed and will be repurposed.
Carpet care
Early in January the Management Committe organised to have the carpets thoroughly cleaned.
It has cost us nearly $2,000 to remove some very nasty stains caused by tea and coffee, as well as through general wear and tear.
Please, do not take any liquids other than water into the classrooms.
